Wahconah Stymies Frontier for Fifth Straight

DALTON, Mass. -- Maria Gamberoni scored 21 points, and the injury-riddled Wahconah girls basketball team Wednesday held Frontier to nine first-half points en route to a 38-28 win.
 
Three regulars were not available to Wahconah (5-1), which took control of the game with a 14-point third that opened a 29-15 lead.
 
Becca Morris and Morgan Marauszwski each scored six in the win.
 
Wahconah takes a five-game winning streak into Friday’s home game against Lenox.
