Mounties Win on the Road in OT

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. – Lauren Powell drained a 3-pointer with 6 seconds left in overtime Thursday to give the Mount Greylock girls basketball team a 45-44 win over Pioneer Valley Christian.

 

Powell scored all five of her points in the extra session, which also saw Tanley Drake and Madison Powell combine to go 4-for-4 at the free throw line.

 

Drake scored 18 points, and Madison Powell added 10 to lead Mount Greylock’s offense.

 

The Mounties (6-4) host Ludlow on Friday.
