Belchertown Girls Down Monument Mountain

GREAT BARRINGTON, Mass. – The Belchertown girls basketball team Wednesday handed Monument Mountain a 54-40 setback on the Spartans’ Senior Night.

 

Brooke Decker scored eight points to lead Monument Mountain, which got seven points apiece from Caroline Becker and Hannah Boino.

 

“It was a very meaningful night being able to honor our four seniors, Mya DuPont, Remi Perreault, Brooke Decker and Caroline Becker,” Spartans coach Joe Valerio said.

 

Monument Mountain (5-12) waits to hear who it will play in the consolation games of the Western Massachusetts tournament that gets underway next week.
