Pittsfield Girls Fall at Central

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. – Giavanna Mars scored 22 points Tuesday to lead the Springfield Central girls basketball team to a 68-60 win over Pittsfield.

 

Zi'Yan Wallace added 15 for the Eagles, who jumped out to a 21-8 lead in the first quarter.

 

Caprese Conyers scored 21 points and grabbed 10 rebounds for Pittsfield.

 

Madison Stetz scored 16 points, and Kyana Summers had five points, 10 steals and five assists.

 

Pittsfield (5-2) is at South Hadley on Thursday.
