GREAT BARRINGTON, Mass. – Natalie Lewis scored 18 points Friday to lead the Monument Mountain girls basketball team to a 49-24 win over Lenox on Senior Night.

Lewis hit three of the Spartans’ eight 3-pointers as they improved to 9-6 this winter.

“On Senior Night, we came out a bit flat after [Thursday’s] tough game,” Monument Mountain coach John Perrault said. “Lenox kept it close until half-time.

“Unlike last night, we came out strong in the third quarter to outscore them, 19-4.”

Elee Hull and Abby Dohoney scored nine points apiece, and Evi Higgins and Lenah Helmke added seven and six, respectively.

Kelsey Kirchner scored six to lead Lenox (5-11), which goes to Franklin Tech on Tuesday.

Monument Mountain hosts Lee on Monday.
