 Volunteers Build Community During MLK Day of ServiceDespite a snowstorm that filled the Berkshires with nearly 8 inches of snow, community members turned out for a "day of service" in honor of Martin Luther King Jr. — and a reminder that the work against injustice is ongoing.  Helping Hands in Pittsfield on MLK DayAt the Gladys Allen Brigham Community Center auditorium, volunteers sorted shoes clothing, toys, and books for the Discover the Eureka! Family Day and toy store. This is the center's third year hosting a free store.  Gina Coleman Chosen as the Recipient of the 2025 Peacemaker AwardThe Peacemaker Award is given annually to an individual or group in Northern Berkshire.  Volunteers Turn Out for MLK Day of Service in Pittsfield AreaThe college coordinated a number of volunteer opportunities with organizations including Berkshire United Way, Soldier On, Central Berkshire Habitat For Humanity and Hillcrest Commons.
