As the Director of Staff Development and Training, Lisa will oversee the BCArc training program, maintain training compliance, and coordinate the development and implementation of the agency's staff development programs.
Berkshire County ARC looked back at its accomplishments over the last year at its 65th annual meeting Friday morning at the Berkshire Hills Country Club.
But for one recognition, it went way back - 65 years, in fact, to the founding of BCArc in 1954.
Berkshire County Arc Chief Operating Officer Maryann Hyatt was awarded the national U.S. Arc's 2019 NCE Exemplary Mentor Award in Washington, D.C., on Oct. 14, and the Massachusetts Provider's Council Award of Excellence one week before that.
In that role, she will oversee the accounting and finance functions of BCArc's $36 million-plus annual budget. She will also manage a complex information technology system that involves numerous state contracts, confidential client data and a network that extends beyond 40 properties across Berkshire and Hampden Counties.
