At-Large candidate suggests naming GE parcel after Larry Bossidy

Pittsfield At-Large candidate Charles Garivaltis (Gara-val-tis) is suggesting that the 52-acre former GE property, now under control of the Pittsfield Economic Development Agency, be named after Larry Bossidy. Garivaltis is suggesting the former GE site be named: The Larry Bossidy Business Park. Bossidy grew up in Pittsfield and went on to become the head of GE and Honeywell Corporation. Garivaltis says Bossidy's name is synaminous with business and it may be beneficial for PEDA to say to potential businesses that we have space in the Bossidy Business Park. Friends of Great Barrington Libraries Holiday Book Sale

GREAT BARRINGTON, Mass. — The Friends of Great Barrington Libraries invite the community to shop their annual Holiday Good-as-New Book Sale, happening now through the end of the year at the Mason Library, 231 Main Street.
