21-year-old Robert Turner of Pittsfield was arraigned in Central Berkshire District Court yesterday on firearms charges in connection with the alleged drive-by shooting of a parked vehicle on Johnson Road in Dalton. Turner pleaded not guilty to the charges and was ordered held on $15,000 dollars bail. The Berkshire Eagle reports that Turner claims he has several alibi witnesses who will testify that he was in Pittsfield at the time of the shooting but, so far, the witnesses have refused to talk to Dalton police. According to police, Turner had an earlier argument with the resident of the Johnson Road address. This report was compiled by WUHN/WUPE Radio, Pittsfield
