No plans for Martin Luther King weekend yet? No problem! Come out and join us for a weekend of skiing and riding at Jiminy! For the weekend we expect to have 34 trails and 8 lifts operating during the day and 18 trails and 4 lifts at night.
That’s 10.5 miles and 150 acres of terrain open for skiing and riding! Snowmaking is planned to resume Friday evening as temperatures are expected to drop throughout the day on Friday. Surface conditions are expected to be machine groomed loose granular on a 15-65 inch base.
Operating hours this weekend will be 8:30 am – 10:30 Saturday, Sunday, and Monday and weekend/holiday pricing will be in effect. 8-hour start anytime lift tickets are $52 for adults, $46 for teens, and $36 for juniors and seniors. 4-hour start anytime lift tickets are $48 for adults, $42 for teens, and $32 for juniors and seniors.
Twilight tickets valid after 3 PM are $34 and 4-hour night tickets are $30. Please call before traveling – updated snow conditions are available online at jiminypeak.com or by calling our snow phone at 888-4-JIMINY.

Martin Luther King night at Jiminy Peak is EDGE Night! Just because the long weekend is coming to a close doesn't mean the skiing and riding stops! You may pick up a coupon at the Latham Farms, Crossgates Mall or Wilton Mall Dick’s Sporting Goods Stores valid to purchase a twilight lift ticket on Monday, January 17th for $10.39 at the Crane Lodge ticket window.
January 22nd is OP Girls Learn to Ride at Jiminy Peak! Returning to Jiminy for its second year, Girls Learn to Ride is a program designed especially for women. Girls and women ages 8 and up may learn to snowboard in groups of women only. The GETSnowboarding packages cost $60 and include snowboard equipment rentals, a beginner area lift ticket, and a lesson.
Lessons are 90 minutes long and are available at 9 am, 11 am, and 1:30 pm. A portion of the cost of each package will be donated to Boarding for Breast Cancer. Pre-registration is recommended as group size is limited. To pre-register please visit www.opgirlslearntoride.com or www.active.com. Friends of Great Barrington Libraries Holiday Book Sale
GREAT BARRINGTON, Mass. — The Friends of Great Barrington Libraries invite the community to shop their annual Holiday Good-as-New Book Sale, happening now through the end of the year at the Mason Library, 231 Main Street.
With hundreds of curated gently used books to choose from—fiction, nonfiction, children's favorites, gift-quality selections, cookbooks, and more—it's the perfect local stop for holiday gifting.
This year's sale is an addition to the Southern Berkshire Chamber of Commerce's Holiday Stroll on this Saturday, Dec. 13, 3–8 PM. Visitors can swing by the Mason Library for early parking, browse the sale until 3:00 PM, then meet Pete the Cat on the front lawn before heading downtown for the Stroll's shopping, music, and festive eats.
Can't make the Holiday Stroll? The book sale is open during regular Mason Library hours throughout December.
Proceeds support free library programming and events for all ages.
