Kripalu yoga practice is open to anyone and everyone- you do not have to be flexible to do yoga! Yoga helps to increase flexibility and physical strength and create more peace in your life. Yoga also can help prevent scoliosis, relieve body tension, improve your posture, and help to calm the 'Monkey Mind' of daily worries.
Perry is a recent graduate from Kripalu's Yoga Teacher Training course in Lenox, Massachusetts. She has been practicing Kripalu yoga for more than four years, and teaches yoga as a volunteer to psychiatric patients at Berkshire Medical Center. Her desire to help people has reflected in such ways as traveling alone to South Africa to volunteer in orphanages and many AIDS hospices in KwaZulu-Natal, the highest populated area of AIDS in Africa. She has also studied Shakespearean theater intensively with Shakespeare Alive! and studied theater in New York City at the New Actors Workshop.
