Berkshire Money Management Welcomes Third Hire of the Year

DALTON, Mass. — John Bielski, a longtime resident of the Berkshires, has joined Berkshire Money Management's quickly expanding team of investment professionals.

Bielski, who is a registered investment advisor, brings nearly two decades of experience to BMM and will focus specifically on the firm's day-to-day operational responsibilities.

"John was my first-ever hire, which was at my previous employer some 18 years ago," said BMM founder and CEO Allen Harris. "It's not easy finding someone with nearly two decades of this sort of specific operational expertise. All the credit goes to the BMM team, who has created one of the best workplace cultures in the area. This has made it easier for us to bring more and more talent on board so that we can continue to serve our clients and the community at the highest level."

Bielski earned his bachelor of science in business administration and finance from the Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts in North Adams. Originally, he called the city of Chicopee his home, but after interning at Dion Money Management (where he first met Harris), Bielski was offered a position there and decided to plant permanent roots in the Berkshires. He lives in Cheshire with his partner Kaila and their daughter Hannah.  In addition to fishing, landscaping, and motorcycle excursions, he also enjoys staying active, and recently completed his first Rugged Maniac competition.

This is BMM's third hire in the last year, reflecting its growth as a result of the continued demands from local investors, including business owners and employees of Berkshire Health Systems.

Berkshire Money Management Welcomes Financial Advisor

DALTON, Mass. — Berkshire Money Management (BMM) announced that Financial Advisor PJ Gagne, AIF has joined the firm.

He brings a grounded, values-based approach to financial planning, helping professionals and business owners in their 50s and 60s answer financial questions and move toward retirement with clarity and confidence.

Gagne specializes in guiding clients through decisions—such as when to take Social Security, how to protect their children's future, and how to turn a lifetime of hard work into long-term financial security. His collaborative planning style helps clients understand their best-case scenarios while preparing for uncertainties.

As the firm announced earlier this year, BMM's newest location at 136 Water Street, Williamstown will be open by appointment later this month.

Gagne lives in South Hadley with his wife, their children, and pets. He enjoys home projects, coaching soccer, and time with family. He holds a BA in Economics from Fairfield University and is an Accredited Investment Fiduciary (AIF).
