Skidmore Edges Williams Baseball Team

SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. -- The Skidmore College baseball team Tuesday scored twice in the bottom of the ninth to earn an 8-7 win over Williams.
 
Doug Schaffer went 2-for-2 with a double and three runs scored for the Ephs, who got four innings of scoreless pitching from Nehemiah Wilson.
 
Williams (16-6) hosts Southern Vermont on Wednesday.

Maimaron, Williams Football Cruise Past Bates

WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. -- Bobby Maimaron threw for 209 yards and three touchdowns Saturday to lead the Williams College football team to a 35-7 win over Bates.
 
Dan Vaughn ran for 96 yards, and the Ephs kept the Bobcats off the scoreboard until midway through the fourth quarter.
 
Williams (5-1) is at Trinity on Saturday.
