MassWildlife to host Summer Fishing Classes First Week of August
PITTSFIELD, Mass. — MassWildlife is hosting three free Learn to Fish summer classes in Berkshire County during the first week of August, two in Pittsfield and one in North Adams.
The first will be at Onota Lake in Pittsfield on from 5 to 7 p.m. on Aug. 2. The second class will be held at Pontoosuc Lake on Aug. 4 from 5 to 7 p.m.
The final class, at North Adams' Windsor lake, will be from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Aug. 6.
These events are free, non-competitive and family-friendly. First timers are welcome, regardless of age.
No fishing license is required. Students can bring their own bait and equipment, but limited supplies will also be provided.
