LEE, Mass. — The Massachusetts Department of Transportation (MassDOT) will be conducting daytime and nighttime bridge and guardrail repair operations on I-90 eastbound and westbound in Lee and Becket. 
 
The work will be conducted at different times and locations from 7:30 a.m. on Monday, Dec. 5, through 5:00 a.m. on Friday, Dec. 9.  Lane closures will be in place during repair operations. Travel will be permitted through the work zones.
 
The schedule for the work and lane closures will be as follows:
 
 Lee
 
Bridge repair work will be conducted on I-90 eastbound at mile marker 8.5 on Monday, Dec. 5, from 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
 
Guardrail repair work will be on I-90 eastbound from mile marker 6.0 to 7.0 on Thursday, Dec. 8, from 7:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. the following morning. 
 
Becket
 
Guardrail repair work will be conducted nightly on I-90 eastbound and westbound from mile marker 14.0 to mile marker 20.0 from Monday, Dec. 5 to Friday, Dec. 9, beginning each night at 7:00 p.m. and concluding the following day by 5:00 a.m. The overnight work is expected to conclude by 5:00 a.m. on Friday, Dec. 9.
 
MassDOT will be conducting overnight guardrail repair operations on I-90 eastbound and westbound in Otis and Blandford. The work will be conducted at various median guardrail ends between mile marker 21.8 and mile marker 28.5. The work will take place nightly from Sunday, Dec. 4, through Thursday, Dec. 8, during overnight hours from 8:00 p.m. to 4:00 a.m. the following morning. 
 
The work will require temporary lane closures to allow crews to conduct the guardrail and bridge repair operations safely and efficiently.
 
Appropriate signage, law enforcement details, and messaging will be in place to guide drivers through the work area.
 
Drivers who are traveling through the affected areas should expect delays, reduce speed, and use caution. 
 
All scheduled work is weather dependent and subject to change without notice.

From savory to sweet, there will be something to tantalize every palate. Haddad Subaru, will be providing a donation of their own as well as being onsite to volunteer, and raise money through some fun cornhole challenges! Subaru will also be collecting food at their East St location from now until May 5. Please stop in with your canned or dry goods.
 
Adding to the festive ambiance, Pittsfield's own musical sensation, Whiskey City, will provide the perfect backdrop of toe-tapping tunes, ensuring a lively atmosphere throughout the event.
