Adams Community Bank Promotes Vice President of Mortgage Originations

ADAMS, Mass. — Adams Community Bank (ACB) announced the promotion of Kaylin Choquette to Vice President of Mortgage Originations. 
 
In this new role, Kaylin will continue executing the Bank's mortgage origination strategies, driving growth in the residential lending division, and enhancing homebuyers' customer experience.
 
Kaylin is an experienced mortgage loan originator with 15 years in the business, eight of which have been at Adams Community Bank. 
 
Over the last five years, Kaylin has been recognized as a top mortgage officer in Berkshire County based on mortgage production by volume, steadily moving from third to number one in 2023. The Bank has recognized her dedication to ACB and expertise through two promotions and nominations for ACB's Customer of Excellence and Essence of Leadership Awards.
 
"Kaylin has been a key contributor to the growth of our mortgage division, and we are confident that her experience and expertise will further strengthen our position in the market," said Julie Fallon Hughes, president and CEO. "She is highly respected in the industry for her knowledge and work ethic, and she works diligently to help central and south county buyers achieve their dream of homeownership."
 
She actively volunteers in the community, including working closely with the Berkshire County Board of Realtors and the Westside Legends in Pittsfield to support and promote homeownership locally. Kaylin is a graduate of UMASS Amherst.

Adams Free Library Offers Free Comic Classes for Kids

ADAMS, Mass. — The Adams Free Library is offering a free two-day comic creation program for children in grades 4-7 during February break. The classes will take place on Tuesday, Feb. 18, and Thursday, Feb. 20, from 6 to 7:30 p.m.
 
Led by Children’s Librarian Emily Brannan, who has over 20 years of experience teaching comic design, the program will introduce essential comic elements, including paneling, sequencing, and speech bubble placement.
