Paving Work Scheduled for Hawthorne Street in Lenox

LENOX, Mass. — The DPW has announced that paving work on Hawthorne Street is scheduled to commence on Monday, May 19.

Residents may observe work crews preparing the site in the days leading up to the start date.

The paving is anticipated to take place throughout the week, contingent on weather conditions. The town is asking for the public's patience and cooperation during this period.

Volunteer Fair at Ventfort Hall

LENOX, Mass, — Ventfort Hall, in partnership with the Nonprofit Center of the Berkshires, announced its upcoming Community Volunteer Fair, taking place on Thursday, June 12, from 1pm-4pm at Ventfort Hall, 104 Walker Street, Lenox, MA 01240. 
 
This event is free and open to the public, welcoming individuals of all ages and backgrounds to explore how they can get involved in community service. 
 
The Volunteer Fair will bring together a variety of local nonprofit organizations, cultural institutions, and service groups, all offering opportunities for attendees to engage with causes ranging from education and the arts to environmental stewardship and social support. Museum staff will also be present to share ways to get involved with programs, events, and behind-the-scenes activities at Ventfort Hall.
 
Nonprofit organizations in need of volunteers for the summer will be stationed throughout Ventfort Hall.
