NORTH ADAMS, Mass. — A two-car motor-vehicle accident near Ernie's Auto Sales on Route 8 on Monday sent two to the emergency department.

According to North Adams 911, North Adams Fire Department, Police and Northern Berkshire EMS were dispatched to the scene of a two car accident.

Both vehicles were traveling Southbound; one vehicle was making a left turn into Ernie's when the second vehicle struck the turning car in the passenger side rear.

Two people were transported to the emergency department and both cars were towed from the scene.
