Barbara W. Davine, 87
NORTH ADAMS, Mass. — Barbara Warfield Davine, 87, of 1474 Church St. died Wednesday, Oct. 16, 2013, at Williamstown Commons.
Born in Rutland, Vt., on July 10, 1926, daughter of Fred and Louise Eaton Eldridge, she attended Drury High School and graduated from Rutland High School with the class of 1944.
Mrs. Davine retired from the former Sprague Electric Co. in 1988 after 38 years of service.
She was a member of St. John's Episcopal Church, now All Saints Episcopal Church, and was a past regent of the Daughters of the American Revolution. She was also a member of the Sprague Quarter Century Club. She enjoyed family gatherings and was well known for the red lipstick she wore.
Her husband, Richard Davine, whom she married Aug. 16, 1944, died on Nov. 17, 2001.
She leaves two daughters, Adriene A. Davine and Diana Coughlin, both of North Adams; two sons, Terry Davine and Michael Davine, both of North Adams; eight grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her sisters Helen Koloc and Dorothy Marchio.
