Angelena A. Colo, 84
NORTH ADAMS, Mass. - Angelena Anna Colo, 84, of 73 Veazie St. died Thursday, Oct. 10, 2002, at Williamstown Commons, where she had resided since 2000.
Born in North Adams on Jan. 11, 1918, daughter of Joseph and Catherine Gerace Jammallo, she was educated in local schools, including Drury High School.
Mrs. Colo was employed by the former Wall-Streeter Shoe Co. for 39 years until it ceased operations. She was last employed by the former Sprague Electric Co. for five years, retiring in 1983.
She was a communicant of St. Anthony's Church and a member of the Sprague Retirees. She was a former member of the Jollee Circle of North Adams.
She leaves a son, Bernard G. Colo and his wife, Liz, of Medway; two sisters, Rita Maroni and her husband, Frank, and Teresa Jammallo, both of North Adams; two brothers, Saverio Jammallo and Augustino Jammallo and his wife, Anna Mae, all of North Adams, and a grandson, Marc Colo of Medway.
She was predeceased by her sister Mary B. Jammallo on March 2.
FUNERAL NOTICE - Services for Mrs.Colo will be today at 9:30 at FLYNN & DAGNOLI-MONTAGNA HOME FOR FUNERALS, Central Chapels, followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 10:30 at St. Anthony of Padua Church, 68 Marshall St. Burial will be in Southview Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations are suggested for the St. Anthony's Building Fund through the funeral home.
