Quaidoo Scores Four to Lift Taconic Past Commerce

PITTSFIELD, Mass. – Eric Quaidoo scored four goals, and the Taconic boys soccer team scored four times in the second half to top Commerce, 8-3, on Wednesday.
 
Luke Murphy scored twice, and Andrew Peprah finished with a goal and two assists for the Thunder.
 
Quaidoo started the game by converting a penalty kick. After Commerce scored to tie it, Taconic was awarded another PK, and this time Peprah put it in the back of the net to make it 2-1.
 
Murphy and Quaidoo each scored to push the margin to three goals, before Taconic took a 4-2 lead into the break.
 
Gavin O’Donnell scored a second half goal. Julius Pierce assisted on two scores in the win.
 
Taconic (4-2) goes to Renaissance on Friday.
