Monument Mountain Comes Back to Beat Pope Francis

GREAT BARRINGTON, Mass. – Erving Henderson scored in the 65th minute to give the Monument Mountain boys soccer team a 2-1, come-from-behind win over Pope Francis on Thursday.
 
The Cardinals got on the board first when Ryan Vidavelli scored in the 38th minute.
 
In the first minute of the second half, Milo Potoski tied it for the Spartans. Fourteen minutes later, Henderson provided the game-winner.
 
Marko Kononenko stopped four shots to earn the win in goal.
 
Monument Mountain (4-1) goes to Mount Greylock on Tuesday night.
