WESTHAMPTON, Mass. — The Hampshire Regional girls soccer team Monday beat Pittsfield, 4-0, in a game that showed just how far the Generals have come this fall.

Back on Sept. 11, Hampshire beat PHS, 9-1, at Kirvin Park.

This time around, Pittsfield competed.

“This was easily our best performance of the season,” Pittsfield coach Hal Asher said. “I would point out individuals but the entire team showed a level of aggression and desire that I have yet to see this season. I am incredibly proud of how hard they worked.”

Pittsfield (0-9) hosts South Hadley on Thursday.
