CHESHIRE, Mass. – Aliza Munch had a hat trick Thursday as the Lenox girls soccer team beat Hoosac Valley, 5-2, to earn the 100th win for coach Brian Seminara with the Millionaires.

Munch opened the scoring in the second minute with an assist from Lauren Bridges, and Reeva Patel scored with an assist from Munch midway through the first half to give the Millionaires a 2-0 half-time advantage.

They stretched it to three goals with an unassisted goal by Munch 10 minutes into the second half.

But Ashlyn Lesure got the Hurricanes on the board just two minutes later.

The teams then traded goals, with Munch completing her hat trick and Hoosac Valley’s Talia Rehil finding the back of the net to make it 4-2.

“After much back and forth in the middle of the field, Hoosac's defense and goalie hung tough, to keep them in it,” Seminara said. “With five minutes left in the game Sophia Cararro hit a free kick that sailed over the wall and into the upper corner of the goal to secure the win.”

Ella Hall made four saves to secure the win in Hoosac Valley’s goal.

Emma Meczywor made 14 saves for Hoosac Valley (0-4), which hosts Mount Everett on Saturday morning.

Lenox (1-1-1) is at Drury on Monday.
