LENOX, Mass. – Jane Elliott scored a pair of second half goals to give the Lenox girls soccer team a 3-1 win over Drury on Friday night.

The Blue Devils struck first midway through the first half when Madison Saunders scored with an assist from Megan McGrath.

The Millionaires tied it 10 minutes later when Aliza Munch set up Sophia Carraro.

Elliot scored the game-winner with an assist from Munch in the 53rd minute and tacked on an insurance goal with four minutes left to play.

“Drury fought back the whole time,” Lenox coach Brian Seminara said of the Blue Devils’ effort after Elliot’s first goal. “Our defense of Chloe Parsenios, Libby Ballinger, Julia Zanin, and Allie Rivers Lussier, anchored by senior captain Ella Hall (18 saves) kept us in the game, weathering  the storm and making save after save.

“Hats off to Drury, they never gave up and pushed hard for the equalizer until the very end.”

Brooke Bishop made 12 saves for the Blue Devils (2-7-1), who host Springfield Central on Wednesday.

Lenox (6-3-1) hosts Mount Everett on Saturday evening.
