DiGrigoli Leads Lenox in Class C Tourney Win

LENOX, Mass. – Madison DiGrigoli scored a pair of goals Thursday to lift the Lenox girls soccer team to a 4-0 win over Mahar in the quarter-finals of the Western Massachusetts Class C tournament.
 
Aliza Munch scored the game-winner with an assist from DiGrigoli midway through the first half.
 
The Millionaires scored three times in the second half to put the game out of reach.
 
Midway through the second stanza, DiGrigoli scored her first goal with an assist from Sophia Carraro.
 
Jane Elliot scored with help from Lauren Bridges 10 minutes later. And DiGrgoli rounded out the scoring with an assist from Elliot with six minutes left to play.
 
Ella Hall stopped five shots to earn the shutout.
 
The win sets up an all-Berkshire County final in the Class C semi-finals. Lenox (9-6-2) will visit Mount Greylock on Friday night for a 7:20 kickoff.
