Daley Delights as Taconic Sweeps Sci-Tech

PITTSFIELD, Mass. – Lacey Daly delivered seven kills Thursday to lead the Taconic volleyball team to a sweep of Sci-Tech.
 
Daly also pulled up 10 digs and recorded a block in the 25-16, 25-14, 25-17 win.
 
“Lacy Daly lit up the sky tonight with her impressive swings from above the net,” Taconic coach Lance Fyfe said. “Tonight was her night, and we’re looking for more of the same from her during the post-season.”
 
Angelese Ward-Green contributed an eight-point service run to allow the Thunder to take control in the third set. Ward-Green finished with four aces and a pair of kills.
 
Natalia Dos Santos had a team-high 17 digs. Jadyn Galliher had five kills to go with four aces.
 
Taconic finishes the regular season 13-5 and awaits word of its first opponent in next week’s Western Massachusetts Class B tournament.
