Mount Anthony Boys Tennis Tops Mount Greylock

BENNINGTON, Vt. – The Mount Anthony boys tennis team earned a 4-1 win over Mount Greylock on Friday.
 
The Mounties got a point at first doubles, where the tandem of Santiago Galvez and Peter Champagne went three sets before prevailing, 6-3, 2-6, 10-4.
 
The first singles match also was a three-setter, with the Patriots’ Will Mattison outlasting Mount Greylock’s Oscar Heeringa, 6-3, 4-6, 10-8.
 
The Mounties go to Lee on Monday.
