Rylander Leads McCann Tech Baseball Past Hurricanes

NORTH ADAMS, Mass. – Lukas Rylander went 2-for-3 with a double and three runs batted in on Thursday to lead the McCann Tech baseball team to a 17-1, five-inning win over Hoosac Valley at Joe Wolfe Field.
 
Nick Gilman finished 2-for-5 with a double and an RBI, and Noah DeBenedetto went 3-for-3 with three RBIs in a 15-hit attack for McCann Tech.
 
Aaron Livsey earned the win on the mound, striking out seven, walking none and allowing three hits.
 
Two of those hits came from the Hurricanes’ Chris Szabo. He also scored a run on a hit by Kale Kondel.
 
Hoosac Valley (0-8) goes to Drury on Tuesday.
 
McCann Tech (7-2) goes to Lenox on Monday.
