Hopkins Powers Lee Past Gateway

HUNTINGTON, Mass. – Karalynn Hopkins went 2-for-4 with a home run and two RBIs Monday to lead the Lee softball team to a 17-3 win over Gateway.
 
The Wildcats collected six extra-base hits in their 18-hit attack as they improved to 2-0 this season.
 
Bri Lynch went 3-for-5 with a triple. Delaney Reed and Shayla Santolin also tripled.
 
Lily Brancato was 4-for-4 with a double and three RBIs, and Taryn Bannon was 2-for-5 with a double.
 
In the circle, Lynch struck out 15 and allowed no walks and no earned runs in the win.
 
Lee hosts Amherst-Pelham on Wednesday.
