Wahconah Scores 30 Runs in Home Win

DALTON, Mass. – Sammie Kaley went 3-for-4 with a home run and six RBIs Thursday to lead the Wahconah softball team to a 30-9 win over Mount Greylock.
 
Wahconah made the most of its 11 hits in the five-inning win. It drew 21 walks against four different Mount Greylock pitchers.
 
Maria Barnes was 2-for-3, and Edrie Collins doubled and drove in a run.
 
Kaley earned the win in the circle, allowing just one earned run in three innings of work.
 
Mount Greylock got a 3-for-3 performance from Kayleigh Jaros, who doubled and drove in three runs.
 
Addyson Pause, Kelsey MacHaffie and Malia Koffi also doubled for the Mounties.
 
Mount Greylock (1-5) hosts Drury on Friday.
 
Wahconah (5-4) goes to Mount Everett on Saturday.
