Monument Mountain Improves to 13-0

GREAT BARRINGTON, Mass. -- The third-ranked Monument Mountain boys basketball team ran its record to 13-0 and clinched the Bi-County East league with a 76-53 victory over Southwick on Friday night.
 
The Spartans jumped out to a 44-23 lead at halftime and never looked back.
 
Khalil Carlson dropped 28 points. Manny Brown had 19, and Sebastian Guete-Ramirez added 13 in the victory.
 
Ben Drumm led Southwick with 23 points and Zach Olsen chipped in with 14.
 
The Spartans' next game is Tuesday night at  Taconic with huge Western Mass implications.
