SHEFFIELD, Mass. – Kalli White scored 16 points Thursday to lead the Granby girls basketball team to a 45-19 win over Mount Everett.

The Rams took a 17-2 lead in the first half and never came back.

“We just didn't come out of the gate tonight with any emphasis or enthusiasm and dug ourselves a pretty large deficit before we scored our first basket,” Mount Everett coach Josh King said. “Some of our mistakes are things we can fix such as making better passes, boxing out, running offensive plays, and just need to be more aware of what is happening on the court, but we didn't quit, which is a plus.”

Emily Steuernagle scored 11 points, and Makayla Carpenter hit eight free throws to account for Mount Everett’s points.

The Eagles (1-7) go to Ludlow on Monday.
