John Giorgi Basketball League Sunday Update

Sunday 8/5/12:

Sunshine Pool & Fence - 74
Moulton's Hearing / Hot Dog Ranch - 70 OT

Brandon Hurst scored 26 points to lead Sunshine Pool & Fence to a 74-70 win in overtime over Moulton's Hearing. With seconds left in regulation Bob Malloy put back an offensive rebound to tie the score and send it into extra minutes. Kollin Allard and Mike Quick scored 13 and 12 points respectively for Sunshine Pool. For Moulton's Rick Harrington led the way with 18 points and seven rebounds. Mike Meaney, Pete Prieto, Seth Shepard and Ben Faulkingham all scored 10 points.

Flynn Dagnoli / Deep Insurance - 80
Stanley Lunber / Cwalinski - 73

Flynn Dagnoli captures the top spot in the A divison with a 80-73 win over Stanley Lumber. Taylor Epley led Flynn's with 24 points followed by Nate Robertson with 13 and Ryan Mauer and Vern Cross with 10.For Stanley's it was Teashon Johnson with a bigh game, 37 points and 10 rebounds. Lawrence Carrier had 24 points, eight rebounds and two blocked shots.

PNA - 81
Central Radio - 67

This was a shoot out with both teams combining for 31 made three pointers. PNA finished the season undefeated as they defeated Central Radio 81-67. Brian Skiffington led PNA with 28 points (8 3 pointers) followed by Russ Beauchamps 25 points (7 3 pointers). Jeff Sprague added 17. For Central Radio Dave Wellington had the game high of 29 points (7 3 pointers) followed by Tanner Darwell who had 24 points.

7:30 p.m. - Moonlight Diner (4-3) vs Sam G. (3-3)
8:30 p.m. - Messenger Digital Dentistry / Somer Electric (3-4) vs Champlain Masonry (3-4)
