Celebrate summer and local history with an evening by Morewood Lake at the Country Club of Pittsfield. The evening includes a short play reading remembering Sarah Morewood, the lady of Broad Hall, whose estate was sold to the club’s founders.

Villages of the Berkshires, Inc. is a locally organized nonprofit organization that connects members with each other and with the resources needed to remain active and independent while growing older at home. Members use services, volunteers lend a hand and many people do both.* Friendly visitor & companion Driver & delivery transportation Home repairs & lend a hand Landscape & gardening advice Mentorship Help with personal needs Pet care Reading aloud Basic tech support & assistance *list subject to change We are residents of the Berkshires who are taking on the mission of enabling people to age in their own home by fostering independence, a sense of security, well-being, and a meaningful life. Memberships are open to anyone within the Berkshire area. One year memberships with monthly payments and scholarships are available. Non-service associate memberships, providing fiscal support for the work we do, are also available. Volunteers add to the Villages model. Whether you have a unique skill to offer and/or can contribute a specific block of hours to help others, let us match your time and talents with someone who needs them.
