Raymond F. Blair, 82
NORTH ADAMS, Mass. — Raymond F. Blair, 82, of 9 Cherokee Drive died Monday, April 22, 2013, at Williamstown Commons.
Born in Adams on Sept. 2, 1930, son of John and Mary Schneider Blair, he attended North Adams schools.
Mr. Blair was last employed by Steinerfilm Inc. in Williamstown. Before that, he worked at the former Wall-Streeter Shoe Co., Hunter Outdoor Products and Lilly's Music House on Main Street.
He attended the First Baptist Church and enjoyed playing the piano.
He leaves his wife, the former Claire Arnold, whom he married on June 28, 1958; two daughters, Ruth Snow and her husband, Larry, of Arlington, Vt., and Jennifer Blair of Adams; two sisters, Betty DeMarsico of North Adams and Elaine Bentley of Adams; four grandchildren, Stacy Snow, April Houran, Larry Snow Jr. and Lukas Yelle, four great-grandchildren, Megan, Ryan, Nicole and Madison, and nieces and nephews.
His two sisters Ruth Blair and Helen Hluboky and brother, John Blair, are deceased.
FUNERAL NOTICE — The funeral for Mr. Blair will be Friday, April 26, at 1:30 at Flynn & Dagnoli-Montagna Home for Funerals, West Chapels, 521 West Main St. North Adams. Burial will be private.
A calling hour will be held on Friday from 12:30 to 1:30. Memorial donations may be made to Shriner's Children's Hospital in care of the funeral home.
