Charles H. Cardinal, 75

NORTH ADAMS, Mass. - Charles H. Cardinal, 75, of 149 Pleasant St. died Tuesday, Oct. 29, 2013, at North Adams Commons after a long fight with cancer. Born in North Adams on Aug. 26, 1938, son of Arthur and Clara Lively Cardinal, he graduated from Drury High School with the class of 1957. An Army veteran, he had served in Germany. Mr. Cardinal was last employed by the former Sprague Electric Co., where he worked for 28 years until his retirement. He was a communicant of the former Notre Dame du Sacre Coeur Church. He leaves his wife, the former Erika Simmer, whom he married on Jan. 16, 1965; two sons, Tim Cardinal of North Adams and Karl Cardinal of Seattle; two sisters, Mary Guest and Rose Delisle, both of North Adams; a brother, Norman Cardinal of Largo, Fla., and nieces and nephews. His siblings Laura Cardinal, Irene Castonguay, Elizabeth Menard and Francis Cardinal predeceased him. FUNERAL NOTICE - Services for Mr. Cardinal will be private. Arrangements are by Flynn & Dagnoli-Montagna Home for Funerals.

I'm so sorry for your loss. When I think of Uncle Charlie the things I remember most are seeing him when I went into work at Sprague back in the day, and the green house on Pleasant Street.
