Joan G. Lemoine, 86

ADAMS, Mass. — Joan G. Lemoine, 86, passed away Thursday, March 30, 2017, at the Mount Greylock Extended Care Facility in Pittsfield, Mass.
Born in Adams on August 9, 1930, daughter of the late Lawrence and Grace Allen Dalton. She attended Adams schools. Joan was employed for the former Waverly Fabrics in Adams for several years, after which she became a homemaker. Joan was a communicant of Notre Dame des Sept Douleurs Church in Adams, she enjoyed crossword puzzles and spending time with her family.
Her husband Lawrence C. Lemoine, whom she married on June 19, 1951, died November 13, 2006. She is survived by five sons, David Lemoine and his wife Patricia and Michael Lemoine and his wife Heather, all of Adams, Bruce Lemoine and his wife Holly of New Canaan, Conn., Paul Lemoine and his husband Ross Levy of Lebanon, N.Y., and Lawrence Lemoine Jr. and his wife Sheyla of Windsor Locks, Conn.; a daughter, Susan Flynn and her husband William of Pittsfield, Mass.; a brother, Lawrence Dalton Jr. and his wife Patricia of Rochester, N.Y.; 11 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by a brother, Daniel Dalton; and a sister, Phillis Wandrei.
Funeral notice: Funeral services for Joan will take place Tuesday, April 4, 2017, at noon from the Trottier Pringle Funeral Home, 6 Summer St., Adams, MA 01220, with the Rev. Steven G. Montesanti, pastor of the Parish of St. John Paul II in Adams, officiating. Burial will follow in Bellevue Cemetery in Adams.
Calling hours at the funeral home will be Tuesday from 10 a.m. until the time of the service. Donations in her memory can be made to Hospice Care in the Berkshires in care of the funeral home.
