I was sorry to read that Gladys had passed. She and the girls used to come to Taconic Restaurant religiously on Sundays when I was waiting tables there. She, Pat, Doris and Helen were my regular customers. They were the sweetest women I know. When I was hired for my first teaching job they wished me well, gave me a little something. I couldn't have wished for 4 sweeter women to brighten my weekend. Gladys always had a smile, always. Lucky to have known her.
