Lillian M. Charon, 82

ADAMS, Mass. — Lillian Marie (Robarge) Charon, 82, of Adams died on Tuesday, May 2, 2017, at Berkshire Medical Center in Pittsfield, Mass.

She was born in Adams, Mass., on February 2, 1935, a daughter of the late Arthur and Florina (Lasante) Robarge. She attended schools in Adams, including Adams Memorial High School. She was employed for over 40 years at Aladco in Adams.  

She was a communicant of Notre Dame Church in Adams. She enjoyed spending time with her family.

Mrs. Caron was the widower of Norman Joseph Charon, whom she married on September 13, 1952. He died on May 9, 1992.

Survivors include two sons, David Norman Charon of Tennessee and Gary Joseph Charon and his wife Linda of Adams; eight grandchildren, Lisa Howcroft, Jennifer Person, Christopher Shoestock, Stanley Shoestock, Joann Bowman, Stacey Charon, Brenda Malloy and Felicia Charon; 13 great-grandchildren; and her longtime companion Edward Ostrowski of Adams.

Funeral notice: A funeral service to celebrate the life of Lillian Charon will take place on Monday, May 8, 2017, at 11 a.m. at the Flynn and Dagnoli-Montagna Home for Funerals, West Chapel, 521 West Main Street, North Adams, Mass. Burial will follow in Bellevue Cemetery, Adams, Mass.

Calling hours will be held from 2 to 5 p.m. on Sunday, May 7, 2017, at the funeral home. Memorial donations in her memory may be sent to the funeral home.
