Maryrose G. Snyder, 95

ADAMS, Mass. — Mrs. Maryrose G. (West) Snyder, 95, of Cedar Park, Texas, formerly of East Road, Adams, died on Friday, April 28, 2017 in Texas.
She was born in North Adams on June 27, 1921, a daughter of Edward and Albina (Soulier) West. She attended schools in North Adams and Northampton and graduated from Northampton High School.
Mrs. Snyder worked as an administrative assistant for the former Arnold Print Works in Adams until the mill ceased operation. While in Adams she was a communicant of the Parish of St. John Paul II Parish at Notre Dame des Sept. Douleurs Church. She enjoyed gardening and growing flowers.
Her husband Walter L. Snyder, whom she married on June 1, 1946, died on July 15, 1998.
She is survived by her daughter, Mary Bassette of Cedar Park, Texas; her son, Paul Snyder and his wife Nancy of Adams; two sisters, Joan Lillie of Lenox and Claire Thorne of the state of Florida; eight grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
She was predeceased by her son, Mark Snyder, who died on June 3, 2016; her grandson, Joshua Snyder; and two brothers, Edward and Richard West.
Funeral notice: The funeral will be held on Saturday, Mary 6, 2017, at 10 a.m. in the Paciorek Funeral Home, 13 Hoosac St., Adams. Burial will follow in Eastlawn Cemetery, Williamstown. Calling hours are Saturday morning from 9 a.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home.
