STAMFORD, Vt. — Daniel A. Hathaway of Stamford, Vt., died Friday, May 26, 2017. 

He was born in New Jersey on September 3, 1966, a son to Raymond and Gertrude (Bogie) Hathaway. He attended schools in Stamford and Drury High School in North Adams. He was the owner and operator of Hathaway Logging Co. He was also employed with A-1 Septic Service until his illness.

Mr. Hathaway enjoyed fishing, hunting, snowmobiling and four-wheeling and also riding his Harley. He loved spending time with his children and doing father-son projects.

Survivors include his parents, Ray and Gertrude Hathaway; his three children, twins Nicoletta and Garrett Hathaway and his youngest Huntter Hathaway, all of Rutland, Vt.; his brother, Randy Hathaway and his wife Joanne of North Adams; and the mother of his children, Sherry (Tatro) Hathaway of Rutland, Vt.
