Michael J. Jamula, 59

LANESBOROUGH, Mass. — Michael J. Jamula, 59, of 88 Summer St., passed away on Friday, May 26, 2017, at his family camp in Middlefield.
Born in Pittsfield on February 14, 1958, he was a son of the late Joseph and Margaret Croughwell Jamula. A lifelong resident of Lanesborough, he was educated in Lanesborough schools and was a 1976 graduate of Taconic High School. He then received his HVAC training and licensing in Chicopee. At the time of his passing Mike was employed as a HVAC Technician at Four Seasons Heating & Cooling, where he had worked for the past fifteen years. He had also worked at one time at Pratt & Whitney Aircraft and Lakewood Mold.
He was a member of the Moose Hunting Club in Vermont. He enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle and being with friends and family at his camp. He will be fondly remembered as a kind and gentle soul.
He leaves his brother, Anthony J. Jamula and his wife Annette of Pittsfield; a sister, Christine Hunt and her husband Donald of East Aurora, N.Y.; his longtime companion, Albina M. Affhauser, and her grandchildren, Lexus Marquis and Amber Lynn Contois of Lanesborough; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral notice: Calling hours for Michael J. Jamula of Lanesborough, who passed away May 26, 2017, will be held Thursday, June 1, 2017, from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Dery Funeral Home in Pittsfield. Burial will be private.
Memorial donations in memory of Mike may be made to the Jimmy Bernardo Memorial Ride or to the American Diabetes Foundation, both in care of the funeral home, 54 Bradford Street, Pittsfield, MA 01201.
