ADAMS, Mass. — Mr. Roger C. Edwards, 95, of Adams died on Thursday, July 27, 2017 at his home.

He was born in Pittsfield on August 21, 1921, a son of the late Charles and Lorna (Manton) Edwards. He attended schools in Pittsfield and graduated from Pittsfield High School.

Mr. Edwards worked as a storeroom keeper in the Naval Ordnance division of General Electric Co., Pittsfield for many years until retiring. He was a member of the First Congregational Church, Adams.

His wife, the former Ethel Norton, whom he married on April 15, 1953, died on March 15, 2012.

He is survived his son, Frederick Edwards of Adams; and many nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by a brother, Charles Edwards; and by a sister Lorna Scace.

Funeral notice: The funeral will be held on Monday, July 31, 2017, at 10 a.m. in the Paciorek Funeral Home, 13 Hoosac St., Adams, with Rev. Michael Mullany, pastor of the First Congregational Church, Adams, officiating. Burial will be at a later date at the convenience of the family.
