ADAMS, Mass. — Mr. Frank H. "Rick" Lyon Jr., 59, of Adams died on Saturday, August 26, 2017, at Berkshire Medical Center in Pittsfield. 

He was born in North Adams on March 15, 1958, a son of Sheila (Sweet) Lyon and the late Frank H. Lyon, Sr. He graduated from the Massachusetts Hospital School in Canton, Mass., and later received his Bachelors in Psychology from the former North Adams State College. 

He loved playing games with his nieces and nephews and enjoyed conversations and writing screen plays. He was the longest patient of Berkshire Medical Center's Renal Dialysis Program. 

Besides his mother of Adams, he is survived by two brothers, Martin and Gregory Lyon; two sisters, Julie Lyon-Sweeney and Monique Lyon-Boothe; many nieces, nephews and one great niece. 

Funeral notice: The funeral will be on Saturday, September 16, 2017, at 1:30 p.m. in the Paciorek Funeral Home, 13 Hoosac St., Adams. Burial will follow in Bellevue Cemetery, Adams.
