Emma M. Jobin, 103

CLARKSBURG, Mass. — Emma Mary (Moffitt) Jobin, 103, of Clarksburg, Mass., died on Wednesday, October 11, 2017, at Sweet Brook Care Center in Williamstown, Mass.
She was born in Williamstown, Mass., on June 16, 1914, a daughter of the late Amos and Ellen R. (Ellsworth) Moffitt. Mrs. Jobin attended schools in Williamstown. She was last employed by Sprague Electric Co., where she worked for over 30 years, until her retirement. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Williamstown.
Mrs. Jobin was the widow of Peter Jobin, whom she was married to for 50 years. He died on October 31, 1983.
Survivors include a son, Peter R. Jobin and his wife, Marianne of Owego, N.Y.; five grandchildren, James, Michelle and William Darling, Stacey Lajeunesse, and Brooke Jobin; two great-grandchildren, Dylan and Lindsey Darling; as well as several nephews and cousins.
She was predeceased by her daughter, Margaret “Peggy” Darling; and her sister Lula Borden.
Funeral notice: A graveside service to celebrate the life of Emma Jobin will be private. Burial will take place in Eastlawn Cemetery in Williamstown. There will be no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory can be made to the First Baptist Church of Williamstown. Flynn & Dagnoli-Montagna Home for Funerals is in charge of the arrangements.
