BENNINGTON, Vt. — Kathryn Elizabeth Hall, 82, a resident of South Street, passed away November 4, 2017, at Bennington Health and Rehabilitation. 

Kathryn was born in Pownal, Vt., on April 23, 1935, the daughter of Ned and Dorothy (Fancy) Towslee. She attended Pownal schools and was a 1953 graduate of Bennington High School. 

Kathryn worked for General Cable, Jard Company and also was a bartender at the VFW and Moose Lodge. She was a former member of the VFW, Moose Lodge and American Legion. She enjoyed playing bingo, baking, attending the Senior Citizen Organizations in Bennington and Pownal and cherished times spent with her family. 

She is survived by her children, Timothy Patrick of Rupert, Vt., James Patrick of Bennington, Dennis Patrick of Florida, Juanita Baker and her fiance Mark Bushee of Bennington, Carolyn Moon and her husband David of Bennington and Jolene Goodell and her significant other Stephan Palmer of Bennington; brothers James Towslee of Pownal and Walter Towslee of Stowe, Vt.; 10 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews and cousins; and her caregiver Arlene Saunders. 

She was preceded in death by her daughter-in-law Sharon Patrick; brother Francis Towslee; and sisters Carolyn Towslee-Graham and Marjorie Roberts. 

Funeral notice: Funeral services for Kathryn will be held Friday morning, November 10, 2017, at 11 a.m. at Hanson-Walbridge & Shea Funeral Home, 213 West Main Street., Bennington, Vt. Interment will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery in Pownal.
