Thomas M. O’Connor, 64

NORTH ADAMS, Mass. — Thomas Michael O'Connor, 64, of North Adams, Mass., died Monday January 22, 2018, at Williamstown Commons.

He was born in North Adams, Mass., on January 23, 1953, son of Albert and Shirley (Busby) O'Connor. He attended local schools and graduated from Drury High School. 

Tom was last employed at K & M Motors.  Before that he worked at Scarafoni Ford. Tom enjoyed the outdoors, especially hiking and camping.

Survivors include two sisters, Sharon Montanaro and her husband, Steven, of Warwick, R.I., and Maureen Catelotti and her husband, James, of North Adams; nieces and a nephew, including Derek Catelotti and his wife, Susan, Colleen Sklar and her husband, David, Heather Montanaro and Corinne Montanaro; and grandnieces and grandnephew, Emma Sklar, Ava Catelotti, and Vincent Catelotti. 

His sister, Arleen O'Connor, died December 5, 2017.

Funeral notice: The funeral for Thomas O'Connor will be Saturday, January 27, 2018, at  noon at Flynn & Dagnoli-Montagna Home for Funerals, Central Chapel, 74 Marshall St., North Adams, Mass. Burial will be private.  

Calling hours at the funeral home are Friday, January 26, 2018, from 5 to 7 p.m. Memorial donations may be made to HospiceCare in the Berkshires in care of the funeral home.
