Rita T. Dugal, 81

FLORIDA, Mass. — Rita Theresa (Poirot) Dugal, 81, of Central Shaft Road, Florida, Mass., died on Sunday, January 21, 2018, at Williamstown Commons after a brief illness.
She was born in Florida, Mass., on October 14, 1936, a daughter to the late Louis and Louise (Boeniger) Poirot. She attended local schools, graduating from Drury High School in North Adams. She worked for 20 years as an enrollment agent for H & R Block until her retirement.
Mrs. Dugal was a communicant of St. Elizabeth of Hungary Church. She loved to travel and was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother.
Survivors include her husband, Paul Patrick Dugal, whom she married on August 9, 1958; a daughter, Paula Marie Dugal of Florida, Mass.; two sons, Paul Patrick Dugal Jr. of North Adams and Wayne Francis Dugal and his wife, Kelly, of Pataskala, Ohio; six grandchildren, Karl, Kenneth, Phillip, Lauren, Brandy and Andrew Dugal; two great-grandsons; four sisters, Marceline Rooney, Adeline Berry, Claire Burdick and Sandra Bergeron; and two brothers, Henry and Charles Poirot.
She was predeceased by a grandson, Clement Dugal; as well has three siblings, John and Louis Poirot and Marie Rowett.
Funeral notice: A Liturgy of Christian Burial to celebrate the life of Rita Dugal will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, January 27, 2018, at St. Elizabeth of Hungary Church in North Adams. Burial will follow in Southview Cemetery.
Calling hours will be held on Friday, January 26, 2018, from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Flynn and Dagnoli-Montagna Home for Funerals, West Chapel, 521 West Main Street, North Adams. Memorial donations may be made in her memory to St. Elizabeth of Hungary Church through the funeral home.
