NORTH ADAMS, Mass. — Hazel Mae Wilkin, 96, of 140 Church St., Williamstown, Mass., died on Tuesday, January 23, 2018, at Williamstown Commons.

She was born in North Adams, Mass., on July 1, 1921 a daughter of the late James W. and Jessie C. (Nichols) Wilkin. She graduated from Drury High School with the class of 1939, and lived in the North Adams area all of her life.

She leaves a sister, Marion D. Wilkin, with whom she made her home. She also leaves a number of cousins.

Funeral notice: A funeral service to celebrate the life of Hazel Wilkin will take place on Friday, January 26, 2018, at noon at the Flynn & Dagnoli-Montagna Home for Funerals, 521 West Main St., North Adams, Mass. Burial will follow in the family plot in Southview Cemetery, North Adams.

Calling hours will be held at the Flynn & Dagnoli-Montagna Home for Funerals, 521 West Main St., North Adams, from 10 a.m. until the time of the service. Donations in her memory can be made to HospiceCare in the Berkshires.
